We were looking forward to hearing some music at Jilly's. An hour and a half after the music was supposed to start we left because they never showed up. Very disappointing. The bartender kept saying they were "stuck in traffic" except there was no traffic on Sunday night.

Where to start...what a great swingin' place. My friends and I often arrive to find not long after that we haven't been speaking for several minutes- the atomosphere is just that cool to exist in. Grab a cocktail from crooner bartenders Hernan, Doug or one of the Bobbys, then throw an elbow on the bar and soak it up. This is not your typical piano bar. Unlike some places with overly laid-back lounge moods, the music here is upbeat and swings hard. It'll keep your foot tapping all night. This all coming from a guy in his mid-twenties...

It has been a little while since I've been in (regrettably!), I love Jilly's...everything about it. I don't get to Chicago often enough; but, when friends go, you can bet this is the place I send them! The atmosphere, the music, the patrons (especially the locals), the martinis, the photo histories on the wall--it is all so WONDERFUL! If you get a chance to go...DO IT.

My high school girlfriend who resides in chicago took me to jilly's in 1996-97 and when ever I visit her we spend many hrs. in jillys...our good friend shannon flies in from kansas and we party the night away...the best chocolate martinis in the country and nick the piano man gives the true flavor of yesteryear...it is an ageless place to pass the night away and be swept off your feet....

Best place in town! I have just moved to the area and everyone I talked to said "Go to Jilly's" Very friendly crowd, Great Bartenders! Great Servers! What more can I say, just go and have a great time. Just tell Lenny the bartender George sent ya.

This place has a lot to offer anyone of any age. A relax evoriment to take a date. If you go visit or live in chicago it is one of those must go site

I almost want to cry I love this place so much. Have a smoke, sip a drink and enjoy a evening of great music and equally great people.
