what can I say. I grew up right there in that neighborhood. And nothing was better than getting a hot dog from Jimmy's or a Polish. there was one day when I had 7 dogs in one day and I was only 14!!!!. The taste stayed in my mind till I went home a few years ago. I took my wife and my son to taste the history of those dogs. All my wife could say was why don't we have a place like this in Lexington Kentucky. People have tried, but failed. Nothing like Jimmy's. Maybe when I go to the life beyond, put a few dogs and a polish in my coffin with me, in case I get hungry

I was born & raised in Chicago. Jimmy's was the first place I ever had a hot dog from and I been hooked ever since. I loved Jimmy's fries and the "bunch" talmalees they had. I was hospitalized a lot at Children's Memorial when I was younger and when ever I got to feeling better I would beg my parents to bring me a Jimmy's hotdog. I live in Kentucky now and I'm disable so I don't get back to Chicago too often. I really miss Jimmy's Red Hots and was so glad to hear that they are still open.

The first hot dog I ever had at Jimmy's Red Hots was on July 7, 1977. Those hot dogs and fries were the best then, and they are still the best in the world.
Why, I just stopped by last night at Grand & Pulaski for a little taste. It had been a while.
No, 30 years later, I think it is amazing that my son and his college friends now go to Jimmy's when they are all back in town, ...and we have all lived in the suburbs of Du Page for over 20 years!
Jimmy Sr., Frankie, Billy, Ivan, Lou, everyone there are/were great people.

I'm in the Marine Corp. I lived around the corner from Jimmy's my whole life. I had my first red hot when I was old enough to chew and I've been hooked ever since. Jimmy's is the first place I go when I'm on leave. The fries are great. I hoop everyone gets a chance to taste a Jimmy's red hot.

You guys still have the best Hot Dogs, I have been coming back since the 80's even if it does take awhile to get there, I would love another location in the suburbs. But it wouldn't be the same. I manage to get there a few times a year. Thanks for a great dog
