I just got her CD and the reviewer who said she was like Marlene Dietrich was right. There is a wild aspect to this singer-songwriter and the reviewer who said she was like Cole Porter was also right.And yet therre is a beautiful bassey bluesiness as well. It's a shame there are so many mediocre talents taking up the spaces where real performers like Wynne Alexander should be.

Heard the cuts on the website. Got the CD... It's really cool... Strong music, strong lyrics, very unique angles. Very brash take on life, ,even the quiet stuff made me look at things differently.

I've seen Wynne Alexander perform in New York. Everything they've written about her is true except they have not fully conveyed what a truly Big Talent this girl has. It's amazing she is not more famous in this country.The piano playing is as good as it gets and I really loved her voice. Altogether, it's a very striking presence.
