Knowing that I love latin/caribbean food, a friend of mine (whose family is from Medellin) recommended Las Tablas. I'm happy to say that I did not leave disappointed. The food was excellent and definitely satisfied my craving. Aside from the food, the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. Waiters were attentive and friendly. The patrons were laid back which provided for a very comfortable dining experience. The BYOB aspect was especially enjoyable. Why pay for overpriced drinks when you can just bring them in yourself? As a fan of latin food and latin culture, I highly recommend Las Tablas.

Las Tablas is one of my FAVORITE restaurants. It is quaint and quite charming. The ambience is authentic, but can be a bit noisy on weekends as this is a very popular spot. It is totally possible however, to have a romantic evening over a bottle of wine, a bottle of beer or whatever you choose. It is a fun place where the waiters are always nice and the servings are plentiful.
I've never had anything bad .. the authentic Colombian preparation will win you over for sure. The place can get VERY crowded on the weekends because patrons are loyal and love it, so get there early. Try the pollo al ajillo!!!!
