I didn't want to believe the rumors, but they are undoubtedly true.  This is quite simply a racist establishment.

Just there on Sat..it came recommended by a friend who lives in Chicago. My group was 4 girlfriend who range from 32-50. We were told by 2 locals to go as well. We arrived early 10ish, paid our $10 cover and walked the red carpet to the underground. What we found was a very nice establishment. Interesting enough all the seating (couch areas) were marked reserved. So other that a few hightops there is no place to gather. We were told the reserved seating was reserved ahead of time. I really enjoyed the club, found the crowd to be very interesting from the club seen Im used to in my hometown. It def is 30's professional status club with a few younger/older mixing. Yes there are gay men there as well. Most appeared to already be with a date. Didnt see alot of "hooking"up going on. Music was def hip/hop, rap with some mixing. Felt the 3 DJ's did a very good job. Drinks..we stayed with beer. Overall I think overpriced. Know its Chicago but $9 for a Miller is crazy. Also noticed not to many guys buying drinks for the ladies..at that price who can afford to. Plenty of security, they do a nice job. I must say at 3am when I left many of those "reserved" tables remained empty. Not sure what that is all about but I did have a good time and would def go back.

The most unprofessional place EVER! I live right by this place so I used to go there a LOT! So for this reason two of my friends and I had planned our birthday there. We worked with the Le Passage party planners to book a wrist band event. I had about 40 guests who were confirmed for this event. 30 minutes prior to the party, the club calls me to tell me that my event is cancelled because they accidentally double booked another party. I had to practically beg to speak to the manager because i was just in disbelief. When the manager finally comes on the phone, he was rude and completely apathetic to the fact that my birthday was ruined. So 30 minutes prior to an event, I was left with disappointed guests with nowhere to go and not to mention that I didnt even have enough time to cancel or call anyone. Before Le Passage advertises itself as "upscale" it should work on its horrible management!

I think Le Passage is great. I am so tired of all the other clubs with the same people every weekend. Le Passage is much more upscale and has a classier feel. Every experience I have since the reopening has been positive and I will definitely return for bottle service in the future.

Let’s be real Nick, can I call you that? Okay, you probably went to 'Le Passage' once, maybe twice? I have been there, lets say over 20 times. Okay, with that said, yes, it is possible you may have had a bad experience. I acknowledge that. No club is perfect, however, Le Passage has actually changed, and along with its name 'Le Passages Discotheque and the Drawing Room' it has changed its interior and staff. Let me ask you another question, have you actually even stepped one foot into The Drawing Room? I highly doubt it, its so funny how quick you write off my opinion just because I say something nice about the place. I would hate do disappoint you, but it has changed, contrary to popular belief, it is actually quite swanky now. Le Passage has gotten new DJ's such as DJ EMILIO and ROHM who spin hot underground house and lounge beats on the turn tables with bartenders that have a passion for the are of cocktails.Did you know that bartenders in the Drawing Room are apart of the National Bartenders Association, all of which went on to compete in international competions, representing the United States? Let me guess, no? I would hate to disappoint you, but just because I did my homework on the place does not necessarily mean that I work for them. Next time, I suggest you actually walk into the establishment and no, when you went there 3 yrs ago does NOT count.

Julie Lu, your input isnt valuable at all, your opinion is biased, you work for the company. You even go so far as to promote 3 other sister companies on your review. Expect a little hostility from people who come here to seek honest, unbiased reviews of places. As far as Le Passage is concerned, Its OK, nothing special. Id rather spend my money where the crowd is though.

I agree with Amanda L. Julie Lu's review is lame. The club was ok back in the day when my friend was promoting it. But, now the crowd is full of people trying too hard to be high society. Face it Julie Lu, you probably would hang out at Le Passage either if you weren't getting paid to promote it.

Went there on Saturday - had a great time - this is not your average Rush Street Barbie bar- very much a class act.
