A truly wonderful restaurant. The food is outstanding. But I must say I was extremely put off by the service on Saturday evening, March 25th. My wife and I were considered a mere afterthought by the wait staff. The waitress even forget to bring us the pear sorbet before our main course. The hostess didn't even bother to wish us a good evening when we left. Very distressing from one of our traditionally favorite restaurants.

This is the best restaurant in the Chicago area. You will find both the chef and his wonderful wife, who is the dinning room hostess most accommodating and helpful in your dinning endeavor at the restaurant. It is tops!

Excellent food in an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere.
Waitstaff is friendly and will answer any questions you may have regarding the menu.
There is always something intereting on the daily specials. I suggest trying the venison medallions and the crab gallette and whatever you do - don't skip dessert!

Fantastic dining atmosphere, excellent food. Much more elegant than you would think. Both a la carte and prix fixed. Lobster bisque, crabcakes, steaks, tilapia were all excellent.
