I emailed an organization called 411Schaumburg asking for information about the Living Room and they told me it was closed indefinately. Also, the clubs phone has been disconnected and their web site is no longer active.

hey, anybody know what is going on with the Schaumburg Living Room. It was closed last night, 6-22-07. No sign. Lights off. Is it closed for good, or just temporary??

03/24/06 Well, we were impressed with the bartenders. It was our first visit. Overall it was a fun experience. However, the reserved tables were not even used the entire night. So, if I had come in late instead of early maybe I would of had an even more enjoyable night. What's up with the reserved tables? If you are going to reserve them, don't you think that they should of been used at some point. I mean honestly, I'm pretty sure more people would of stayed till close.

This place sucks ass. A bunch of oldies tryin to dance. Myself along with 9 of my friends went to this place last friday night, and it seems we young guys were too hot for this place. Looked like we were feared by the mexican wann a be bouncers that they asked us to leave cause we danced a little too much and had fun. Coming down to chai town from Atl we didnt expect such a treatment because they didnt show any hesitation to take our money but they didnt have what it take to treat their customers with respects. They should have left a note outside oldies only. I think this place for people who want to drink and may be try to hook up to old folks in the 50s.......Living room is a dissapointment.

I've been to the Living Room a couple of times this year (2005), and was not impressed, to say the least. Most tables were reserved, although I didn't see anybody take them over the course of the evening, and the music lacked variety. The second time, the band didn't even show up, so they just spun whatever music they had on hand. Only very few people actually knew how to dance; everybody else was just shifting feet, nothing to look at. The crowd was diverse, which is just about the only good thing. Overall, it's average at best.

This club is one of the most fancy places to go out for fun and meet people. I love this place very much. People come here are dress up very nice, good looking, polite, some are rich....It's really fun, you should try and will come back, and come back for many times....Enjoy dancing....

A group of 4 went to the Schaumburg location 3/4/05 and what a disappointment. They wouldn't take reservations but we were the first ones in the place and most of the tables had "reserved" signs on them. We were hassled about not wanting to check our coats. We ate at Ruperts and twice requested a meal be cooked rare and twice it was overcooked. When asked to have a $38 steak wrapped up it was forgotten.

Funk/Disco band there on Saturday. Cool band. Crowd died on them though at the end of the night. For awhile everyone was just watching instead of dancing (me too). Seems the crowd likes the house music which is what they play anyway.
Sweet club. Best in the burbs.

We went to the Living Room in Schaumburg last Saturday because we heard that it attracted an older crowd. That much is true. It had a fairly decent good-looking mix of men and women, with only a few slick Guidos and mutant Skipper/Brittany types. However, the music was so bad it was annoying and we had to leave. Either the DJ was very young or inexperienced. He had no idea how to read the crowd and stuck with the boring club repertoire of house and rap music. We were there for 2 1/2 hours (hoping the music would change) and at the most I saw was 8 people on the dance floor (mostly 2-3 groups of girls who were probably friends of the dj.)If you have any older crowd, rap music is not the music of choice to dance to. Too bad they don't play any great funk, rock,or r&b music. It could be a great dance club, but instead it's just kind of sad.
