Lucky Platter is one of my & my family's favorite places to eat! We usually go for breakfast...apple ricotta cheese blintzes with their cider syrup are amazing, and the scrambles are great! plus there are so many options of ingredients to add in. Definitely go for the apricot cheese flakey! lunch/dinner is also good...i usually get the tuna melt, mentioned in a previous review...try the sweet potato fries!!!

This a tastey place to eat. Love the apricot flakey!! But the service is slow slow slow. I've been there many times and each time I play the game, where's the server.

fav place in evanston hands down. a nice departure from the chain restaurants that seem to plague evanston... i highly reccommend the bbq chicken salad... mmm!

I love this place. The waitstaff is friendly, the prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is cozy and fun (with a whole lot of tacky art seemed to be picked out of garage sales mixed in with some wonderfully funky sculpture- check out the fish made from tin cans and mailbox parts, etc.). Beyond that, the food is absolutely delicious! The menu offers some yummy vegan dishes like chop salad and tofu scramble, plus a range of flavorful food for our carnivorous friends (I hear the jumbalaya is a 10) . It's one of my favorite spots in Evanston.
