The beer selection is great, but pay w/ cash! If you start a tab on your card there will always be extra drinks on it at the end of the night. When you ask to have them taken off your tab the uncooperative staff will tell to you quite 'nickel and diming them'.

This bar has a lot of great beer, but I've only had bad experiences here. The bartenders are slow and pour too much head on the beer. They are especially understaffed on the weekends. The heavy crowd and annoying music also make it difficult to enjoy the quality beer. Very limited seating and they don't have food.

Recently named one of the top 5 places in the United States to grab a pint, the selection here is impeccable. Often carries limited edition kegs which can't be found elsewhere in the United States. If you are looking for top notch selection and a relaxed atmosphere, drop by for a weekday happy hour and avoid the weekends where it tends to fill with a Miller Lite guzzling crowd. My favorite bar in all of Chicago.

it's a great place to go if you want to just hang out and have some good beer. It's not pretentious or fake. And usually, there's free food on Sunday afternoons when the Bears are playing.

for something that is supposed to be "relaxed and chill" it is NOT. WHat map? it doesnt have the minerality that you would expect from something called the map room! the Hopleaf is much tighter!!!
