Dani is the best bartender ever. She's a gem

Lately it became one of my favourite places in Chicago. I found out about Martini Ranch few months ago. The first impression was a romantic lounge, however later in the evening DJ's started spinning house music. This place became crowded between 11:30pm and 12:00am. I didn't even noticed how this place turned into a nightclub. What I love about this place is a flavor of an underground. Many music lovers come here. I was never dissapointed with music at Martini Ranch. Whenever I come here, I have a great time. Great crowd I would say. Looks like everyone comes to forget their daily problems and enjoy the evening. Another cool thing is that they serve food until arounf 3 or 4am. Especially for nightcrawlers like me eliminates the inconveience of going to some McDonalds or whatever to get food. To me Wednesday nights is the place to be. Music is just amazing then. Very well recomended place.

This place used to be good, playing lots of old school house music, but not anymore. Last time we went on a Saturday they played music that did not even sound like English. They also do not serve food anymore. I will not be going back.

The martini's are good, but the drinks are all over priced. Women pay $5 cover on a Friday, men can pay anywhere from $5-15, depending on the time you arrive. The place is super small (narrow). The servers can barely pass by to take drink orders. The music is super loud. You'll lose your voice by the end of the night and won't be able to hear a thing when you step out. That wouldn't be a problem if the music was actually decent. No one is dancing on the dance floor and after you get passed the first room, there is like no one in the bar. It's incredibly dark - so beware of talking to not so attractive people (because you won't be able to tell either way). It's really not worth it.

So much fun! Hot people, good (and definitely strong) drinks, good music, sweet staff and promo people. Definitely a blast. The only 2 things I didnt like was the size...lets just say u get well acquainted with people whether you want to or not...and the fact that all the girls there had gaucho pants on...it was like a uniform.

I have been going to the Martini Ranch for years and always brought alot of friends with me. Every Saturday night we partied until the lights came on. I missed 1 month of going there and came out to my "favorite" bar one Saturday night, and the bouncer said I had to be on a GUEST LIST! WTF! I knew the owner and bartenders there, and he wouldn't let me in at all. I was dressed appropriately and everything, and still he wouldn't let me in. So as you can see, people forget, and I have forgotten about the Martini Ranch. I would never go back there again. Thanks GUYS.

I didn't get a chance to get in because I was "underdressed". They need to get over that - money is green. The bouncer on a Tuesday night was extremely rude, and was on the verge of being prejudiced. Get a grip people - jeans and tennis shoes do not coincide with being ghetto. But, who cares, I can spend my money someplace else. Your loss!
