From the second we walked into the clubhouse with 2 groups of 3, the staff was very rude and short with us. They turned on the sprinklers in the middle of our play and kicked us off of the course on Hole 8, at 8:30 (we very easily could have finished up #9 since dusk wasn't until 9). There are many other golf courses it the McHenry area that are cheaper and much friendlier. The course was not very challenging for the price, not many hazards and no water on the front nine. The course had very little creativity. We will never play at Cary Country Club again.
