Memories is a great place to go to get away from all the stress of the day. its not for u if ur into the club scene, but if ur looking for a nice conversation with a plesant person, ask for Margie. U can always email the bar at the Memories site as well. The address is... memories4358@yahoo.com or sbcglobal.net. They also have a myspace page, www.myspace.com/memories4358. They book all kinds of shows, not just punk!

An older bar but all bartenders are friendly (all women bartenders) I especially single out Kathey whose is a good bartener and fun loving to you unless you bcome a jerk. The metal punk pands are a turnoff to older customers but bands like Sump Pumps, Squared Off and Wendells Band are a delight and I suggest you come in and see them when they play.

the people are super nice at memories and i had the sweetest bartender named Margie. i gave that bar all 4 stars.

This place is your typical old-man neighborhood dive bar. It looks like some desperate local bands are booking shows there and trying to pass it off as a punk hang-out. Yeah right...a rock bar in Irving Park. I live down the street and can tell you it's a good place for a drink after work but it's definitely not a rock n' roll joint. Don't be fooled by some band too inept and out-of-the-loop to book a show at Gunther's.

The bar is kind of a dive, but the people are nice. There's a great band on Wednesday night, The Second Hand Soul Band, that does an open mic night.

Memories is a great little place to go visit that will make you feel at home...The owner is a little old friendly man who will always put a smile on your face, and should the cubs ever happen to win he will buy you a drink...so stop in and give the bar a chance, you will not be disappointed!

the bartender that we had was super rude,not accomidating and a little bit "red-neck" and i can say that b/c im from memphis.the croud is older men that fit well w/ the bartender-"red-necks".....i would give it -10 stars.it sucks!!!!
