I know the guys in the band, and , in addition to being in (I think i am being objective here) one of the finest bands around today, they are also some pretty excellent guys.
they have not played a live show for a while because they have been busy in the studio. So Confidential Don, a record is on the way (next month or so it should be completely done). They will be playing near the end of January at the Elbo Room (where they will be playing mostly or completely new material), so keep a lookout for them.
For those of you who posted the previous reviews, I am sure they appreciate the positive feedback. If you believe as I do that these guys deserve greater exposure and recognition, feel free to bring as many people as you can to the upcoming show. I feel certain that they would appreciate your presence--plus, the more the merrier for everyone. Peace to you each, and I hope to see a bunch of you out at the next show enjoying our favorite as of yet unheralded band.

Talk about a band! They've had some hard times - band members coming and going, the bass player could only come in on weekends because he attended school away from their homebase, the guitarist cut his fingers off in an electric hedge trimmer - and took up slide guiar while they healed - only to return as amazing as he was before! Although they need a little kick in the butt (update the website, make a CD - I know your poor - maybe you could ring a bell outside a grocery store to finance THE record or something of the like...) soon the masses will realize...Chinchilla Fury needs to be seen and heard. There's too much talent to let this band fall by the wayside, let them know how much you like them (or hate them if you have a horrible disposition). Keep hope alive - support live music - especially Chinchilla Fury.

I haven't heard them in a while, but every show I did see was outstanding!!!! The band has a connection with each other that spills over into their audience. They really put together the whole package for the fans old and new to enjoy, quality sound, fabulous music and an energy that is unmatched. My personal favorite though is the lead guitar...you rock harder than anyone I have ever seen.
