Great place for those fast food cravings. Went in for lunch around 1- thinking the lunch rush would be over. It was still a full house. But it didn't matter because when we got there we were seated right away. Food was at the table within 15 minutes. I had the regular Monks burger, fries and a beer- which was all very tasty. Tab around $15 per person.

i think monks pub is a great establishment...i have had great experiences there!!!! however stay away from the bar area at night, the night shift bartender is a class A moon walker, you will wait forever for a drink as she holds a 20 min conversation about nothing...other than that, i highly recommend it for a great time

Great place to just relax, grab a beer and eat a great burger. The no frills atmosphere makes it the perfect place to go after a long hard day of work. Did I mention the burgers were good?

I was looking for a good place to eat in the theatre district, and researched this place out on the internet. Monk's should stick to the beer. The fries were obviously frozen, and the burger that my girlfriend had was so charred that she had to scrape the black burnt part off of the burger. We also had a spinach dip and pita appetizer, which also ended up to be pretty horrendous, and of poor quality. The only thing I could recommend about this place is it's extensive draft selection--Guinness is on tap! For the amount of money they are charging for their food, it should be MUCH better, so overall, Monk's is a good place to drink, but not a place to eat.

Great dive-bar-burger-joint. There's not much about it that hasn't been said in the review. Its dark, its loud, the burgers are really good and its pretty cheap. Big business lunch crowd.
