Some things never change- Edison Park is still the best neighborhood in the city, Cubs are almost there and Morreties service is TERRIBLE. Let me rephrase that, the food ts OK - the service is terrible. I've had food come out cold before- at that point we were just happy someting came out. As a local - we just go there for beers and to see the women come through. But even for something as simple as that- the service is a disaster. Beer garden is probably the biggest in the city, and its nice- just remember that the waitstaff is terrible.

Terrible, rude, bad food, bad service. Dont even think about bringing anyone with a disability, they might be too put off to seat them. Also dont think about bring someone over 60 they will seat them in the sun after requesting the shade or indoors. Then they will hope you are thankful.

Food is always awesome at Morettis. Too bad their service wasn't half of the quality of the food. The ONLY time you will get 1/2 way decent service is out in the beer garden - beyond that, hope you brought a snack to tide you over. The bartenders are far more interested in hangin out in the corner of the bar with their friends - the waitstaff is beyond a nightmare. Don't bother complaining to management, they could care less.

Being Edison Park people we have finally given up on dining at Morettis - EPI is right next door, the food is pretty good and comparably speaking the service is stellar compared to Morettis.

Want to experience the great food at Morettis? - have it delivered....

I think Morettis has awesome food and a really nice and comfortable atmosphere. The beer garden is really pretty at night with the italian lights. My experience, as far as the services goes, has been just fine. I'd say about average wait time for your order. I have also gone there for 'after-hours' (on a Thursday) and it's fun for late night drinks as well as dancing.

The last three times that I have dined at Moretti's in Edison Park have been fairly uniform in food quality and service. both range form poor to a nightmare. The food is served less than warm. The wait after ordering is almost forever. The wait staff is the essence of amatuer nite. Our wait person on 5-30-05, was a trainee and was the better than the others. I have been going to to that location for lots of years; back when it was the Snuggery. using the Snuggery as a "10" Morretti's is almost a 2. The only reason that I had to endure the same lackluster food and service on 5-30-05, was because I went along with others who were hungary and everything that I suggested in Edison Park-Park Ridge was closed. This place is a fit for 20 something year olds at the bar wanting to meet someone.
