My friend, Robin and I, had the wonderful experience of GREAT hospitality, food AND BLUES in July 2005! I'm from Denver and was made to feel right at home! Bossman made sure we were comfortable and "well fed". It was one of the highlights of our visit to Chicago and I know I'll be back! We love Bossman & his place!

Come out and visit with Bossman! Sip on a bottle of High Life and listen to Gut Bucket Blues=perfect evening. Great blues club supported by local patrons. Highly recommended!

Best place for Gut Bucket Blues. Bossman run this excellent blues club. Drinks are cheap and the people are friendly and happy you came. Don't let the location stop you from coming. This place is the Real Deal!..a gem in the city.

This very funky neighborhood joint is now known as Bossman's Blues Center. The drinks are cheap, the jukebox is stocked full of great Blues/R & B,the house band is great(Bobby "Slim" James)and there is usually no cover charge on the weekends, just a 2 drink minimum.

Friday nights are really jumping here with neighborhood cats like L.T. McGee, Lil'Leon,Little Howlin'Wolf,Harmonica Khan and Chicago legend Johnny Dollar (just to name a few),all likely to be sitting in.For those of you tired of the North Side tourist scene "Bossman's" is the real deal.

The music's loud, drinks cheap, people are friendly & the blues is going all night long. What more can I say???
