Food is "Great" , "Service is Excelent" and the drinks are "Wonderful". I would recomend Nacional 27 to anyone who has a distinguish tase for exotic meals and drinks. Not to mention the ladies , it's the icing on the cake.

DON'T SIT AT THE BAR! Ditzy bartender walked over and asked if I wanted a drink (No, I'm sitting here waiting for the El!), then disappeared after I'd perused the drink list and was ready to order. Planned to eat, and she asked what I wanted. Said I had to read the menu first. She brought over a meal set-up and when she hadn't returned twenty minutes later to take my order, I asked for my check. There was some confusion as to where she'd put my credit card (which she'd taken and not returned after my drink order), which was finally tracked down. She said she wasn't sure I wanted to eat, so I said, 'Then why'd you bring silverware and a napkin over?!' Drink was tasty but overpriced, though music was good.

Love the Atmosphere, hate the food where's the Latin flavor. Not a good blend of spices, oh forgot what flavor. Waiter was good until it was time to pay the check and he was MIA. Don't waste your money

I was expecting a nice meal here. What i got was a place where they charged 25 bucks for water, appetizers and dessert that had to be shared with 20 people. It was way overpriced, and plus they were not honest in telling our party that they did not except our 100 dollar gift card on saturdays!

Everything was quite nice, until I saw a bug crawling through my avocado salsa. I didn't make a fuss about it, other than asking the waiter to take my plate away, since he happened to be at the table immediately after I noticed it. Maybe I should have since they didn't offer me ANYTHING....a free drink, a free dessert, etc. The waiter asked if I wanted him to bring something else, so I ordered a cocktail, expecting it would be complimentary, but I was charged for it. I'll never eat there again.

Worst latin meal I ever paid a lot of money for, next to Mambo Grill. If you like food with flavor and spice, don't waste your time or money here. It bland beyond belief. The drinks, however, were outstanding and the only thing I would go back for.

Fabulous! Nacional 27 always leaves me a reason to return...delicous Latin cuisine, diverse menu, wonderful recommendations, great drinks and pairings, incredible service... I would and do recommend Nacional 27!

Our first time To Nacional 27 was this New Years eve,the service for dinner was pretty good, the 3 course dinner was quite pricey and nothing to rave about. The music was Fantastic, the dance floor is too small

The food was incredible and the service was perfect. This will definitely be on my list of "have to's" next time I'm in Chicago.

First night in Nacional 27 without planning, and we have the best time ever. Since our arrival to the front of the place we were received with a very positive, attentive, and remarkable attitude. Let me tell you a little story. Two years ago I was given a "Lettuce Entertaint you" gift card package, we never use the $25.00 card certificate that came with the package and unfortunately expaired. In the other hand the $100.00 dollars gift card certificate didnt have an expiration date, so we decided it to go out and put it to use. That's how we end up in Nacional 27. The food in Nacional 27 is OK but no high marks here. The drinks, specially the mojitos were very good and refreshing. In the music category, I give the DJ four (****) stars. The DJ keep us dancing all night long, to the tropical sounds of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Reageaton. My wife couldnt stop talking the next day about the great night we had in Nacional 27. Next time we decided to bring our friends for that special occasion. The whole atmosphere was just right. I highly recommend this remarkable spot for Saturday's nights, and for those guys who want to impress their dates this the place!
