I have been to Neo's when they played descent music like KMFDM and NIN. Now it seems very lame on going trans beat crap. And the door man they have now is a real idiot. He reads your name off your license, and then acts like he knows you. And then likes to throw your name around. (What a real cockroach!)Unless thay get rid of him and play some descent again. I and my freinds will not visit this place any longer..........

Thurdays are...the boom !! Dave the D. J. plays the best music to dance to from hard core punt, rockabilly ect..the type of music all people love to dance too and fits all types of dancers the way a club should be.The drink prices are way to high. This place is a must for Thurdays if you love great music and love to dance. The Ramons rule Clash comes in a close 2nd lol.

Planet Earth dj's on thurdays is the best new wave i've ever heard in my life. The atmosphere is perfect, mixed drinks are a little over the edge ($$$) but it's worth it ya cheap skates! A grand time indeed. Long live Dave & Christine.

Have another reunion. For those who put it on the map in the 80's. The last reunion was strange, maybe this one will have better vibes, now that maybe we have all grown up. But we will never forget the permiscuous 80's when NEO was our slice of Studio 54. My black clothes are nicer now, not from thrift stores and I might even bring my husband. I spent my 20's dancing the night away at NEO, I first tried sushi at the door with Instant Steve. I even remember when Oscar used to demand 2.00$ to get in. I was glad when he left, he gave the place Nazi appeal. We had fun, Mark, Joe, Marlene, Jeff, Kevin and others. We know who we were. Jeff had the best after hours parties and Anita seemed to have a nose for my boyfriends. Oh well that's life in the big city.

The DJ on Saturday is superb--a great mixture of ebm, rock industrial, new wave AND power noise industrial (my favorite). NEO is a home away from home for many, including myself. It fulfills its purpose- a place where one can truely be him/herself.

Black, black and more black is still color of choice at Neo. Best night to go lately seems like Thursday nights. Dj spins everything from The GoGos to David Bowie. Drinks are priced at a cheap rate. Admission is only $5 and it picks up after midnight.

Best time to go to Neo is Friday and Saturday night after 12; drinks r a little pricey; parking is definitely pain in the butt; but it is worth it, great music......free admission ad often on the Readers
