When I first saw him conduct, I was overwelmed by his agression, sense of perfectionism and he truly acted as gentle commander over his players. He is *most* physical when he performs (been three times now). His passion for the music is so very apparent, and the respect he is given from his "elder" conductors is indicative of his over-whelming talent and poise. I guess they would consider him "the Golden Child" of the Symphony. I would not be surprised if he would become extremely popular within the next few years.
