If you eat as much Mongolian Beef as I have in the past 58 yrs you would no that this is far from a DRY dish, by that I mean is is prepaired, with a brown sauce which could be either somewhat sweet, or in true mongolian fashion somewhat spicey. NOT SERVED WITH DRY SEASONED (Prob. SOY SAUCE) BEEF A FEW STIR FRIED GREEN ONIONS, OVER RICE NOODLES. AND NO SAVORY BROWN SAUCE..But when you ask the waitress and the manager they argue with you, And say:"next time you order ask for sauce:", What is that all about.

My two cents about Pine Yard:
My colleague and I just came back from having lunch at Pine Yard and enjoyed our lunch. However when it was time for the bill, we split the total in half and noticed that we were both charged .02 extra. After confronting the cashier she explained to us that it's towards the credit card surcharge. I know it's only .02 cents but I've never heard of this. This is just a warning to please check your receipts when charging everywhere especially at Pine Yard. Also we didn't receive the detailed receipt that provides the total so we can't go back to prove anything. The cashier received an additional .04 from us, who knows how much more they're getting from others.

My boyfriend and I have been going there for few times and have had good experiences until yesterday. We ordered the carryout and the next day, we found out we are overcharged by checking our online banking. We called the restaurant and the manager picked up the phone. She checked her record and stated that it should be the bank's problem not theirs. During the whole conversation, she was VERY RUDE. She not only refused to fax us a copy of record showing the exact charge they posted, but also rejected to transfer to me to her supervisor. She asked us to deal with the bank directly. We were really disappointed how she handelled the whole situation, and we for sure won't go there again.

I have been eating at the Pine Yard for all of the thirty years that they have been in buisness. The most amazing thing to me is the food quality seems to be maintained. There are times when they are so busy the service can get slow but the food is always worth the wait.

We went to Pine Yard two times and although food is good , service is so awful that we vowed not to go back there again. Hostess left me feeling so bad that I felt animosity (which I almost never feel :-(( To make matters even worst – I was 9 months pregnant :-))
