Was a big fan until tonight. Lousy Caesar salad, how can you mess that up? The ingredients of the meatballs were questionable. They tasted micorwaved and overworked. The $46 filet was fatty. For 46 bucks someone can trim the fat. Service was OK. We were not offered wine menu and I do not speak Spanglish. Too many good Italian resturants in Chicago to go back to this one.

The service is rude and the owners are even more rude... Place needs to learn about customer service... In this economy , they should even learn to smile. Food is mediocre at best , prices are crazy and the atmosphere is like a rock concert. You cant hear the person sitting next to you.. The mexican wanna be italian food is never prepared correctly.

I have been going here for years. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and plentiful(enough for two meals) for a great price. At times a little oily, but great great food and nice ambiance.

i've been to italy and this restaurant's fare comes incredibly close. ingredients are fresh and everthing was soooo good and nicely done. being a veggie, my main gripe is freshness and proper preparation of vegetables - and this place did it very well with the rapini and pasta dish I ordered. not overcooked, al dente - scrumptuous. the fresh pasta was so tasty, not heavy. impressive portions (i had plenty of left-overs) and attentive service. i was with a large party and everything went smoothly. i'll definitely go back and make sure to bring friends.

The service and food was exceptional, I am going to tell everyone about this gem. Even the valet parking service was exceptional. What a night!!!

I am Italian and am very particular about the food I eat in "Italian" restaurants. Almost every time my family and I are disapointed. Not so with Bella Notte. They are truly one of the best Italian restaurants in the country. A typical Italian family, we sampled each others orders tasting the various offerings and were pleased on all counts. The service was impeccable with the waiter very knowledgeable making excellent suggestions. Like Schwarzenegger, we will be baaack.

I think it is one of the greatest restaurants in Chicago. I love how the srvers attend you and how the food taste SO GOOD! I recommend the chicken parmesan sandwhich, it has such a great taste. I give it 5 stars out of 5! Great job!

The renovation has helped IMMENSELY with service, sound, and space. The interior has done a 180 and I highly encourage anyone to check it out again. It's a neighborhood jewel with the best vodka sauce in the city.
