I've only eaten at Prairie Joe's once, but what I had was amazing. The "Carrot Salad Burrito" with hummus. It's rare to find a vegetarian dish that is both delicious and creative. Usually it's "meatless burger" or "meatless meatballs". But a carrot burrito? Crazy!

This is my favorite restaurant. The food is consistently good and fresh, service is fast, and the ambiance is friendly and fun. The whimsical menus, vintage decorations and eclectic music set the tone for a unique, comfortable experience. Don't miss the P.J. burrito and the shakes.

this place is like a living museum of art and food, I would say the most unique restaurant in Chicago. Check the original art and everything else, it is crazy

I am a regular at prairie joe's. I come here for the specials which tend to be very original and change daily. Everything from Creamed Chicken and Biscuits to Mushroom Dobladitas to tasty vegetarian specials. The place is filled with original art, light shows and great music. To me its alike a living exhibit of people food and various art media including a virtual fire place. Check it out.
