Great location less than a block off N. Michigan Avenue near alot of shopping and tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and very nice. The free in-room wi-fi also made it convenient to surf the internet as we planned out what to do and how to get there during our five-night (July 8-12 2009) stay in Chicago. The lounge on the top floor is a great spot to hang out and relax and has a good view but the drinks and food are a bit pricey. Overall we had a good experience there and would recommend The Avenue Hotel Chicago to other travelers.
