OMG! Rainbow= life! I love it so much! Rainbow cone is a huge tradition in our family. I even have a sibleing working there! It is totally worth the drive! It is the best ice cream and has a great building and great people! Rainbow cone is great and a chicago tradition!

I live in Chicago's Beverly neighborhood, about 5 minutes away from Rainbow Cone. This past summer I went there at least once a week. I am looking forward to repeating that again this summer. This TRULY is some of the best ice cream in Chicago!

I had lived in Chicago for 16 years before my family moved to chicago, now 20 years later my Brother, Sister and I had came back to visit our Uncle and of course we had to stop by Rainbow, Let me tell you it was the best stop we made the ice cream is as good as it was 20 years ago. I could remember the long lines we used to wait in. Now the place is bigger and better. I recommend Rainbow to everyone passing by. I live in Florida now and everytime I go back to Chicago I HAVE to stop. MMMMMMMMM what a treat!!!!

I remember going to Rainbow Cone hundreds of times when I lived in Chicago. The flavors were really great. But something occured to me during my last few visits. I saw the hard effort it takes to scoop the rock hard ice cream out of those ice cream containers. I noticed a few employees using their body weight to dig into the ice cream. I'll bet their wrists were killing them at the end of their shift. I hope they are paid well.

One of the biggest things I miss about Chicago. I was lucky enough to grow up 2 blocks from rainbow cone in beverly before moving to the western suburbs. Summer always meant rainbow cone, and still does to me.

Rainbow cone is the best place to get ice-cream anytime throughout the year. Hot summer nights are ideal for taking a stroll through the beautiful neighborhood of North Beverly. The ice-cream is rich, creamy and utterly fantastic.

FIVE scoops... this Chicago traditon continues every summer with lines outside the establishment stretching down the block. This old Chicago tradion has it's roots in the flavor and ambience of Rainbow Cone, starting with the neon cone on the roof and ending with licking the last drop of the creamy cone as it drips on your shirt.
