I live in Milwaukee and I spend more time at The Rave than anywhere else. The lineup is always great, and the bars are a fantastic place to spend your time between bands. It's also a great place to see concerts that have sold out in Chicago, since the venue is larger and usually won't sell out as quickly. Highly recommended!

Well I have been to the Rave a couple times. One for Papa roach and once for SOTU. The main room (The Rave Hall) is a very nice setup. It is long and somewhat narrow with mainly standing room, but a few seats in the balcony are there. You can see the stage from anywhere youre standing, a rarity. But all you hear during the concert is drums and bass. The ballroom was something else. Its so damn big and it has 2 bars. Acoustics were a little better and youd never guess a huge ass ballroom would fit in that tiny building. Even though it may not have great acoustics this place is a definite must for anyone in the Milwaukee area. Its such a unique place it actually used to be a YMCA back in the day. Its a great place to be and the people are friendly so definitely check it out!!
