I love Bice, it is the most authentic Northern Italian food in Chicago and easily one of Chicago's best restaurants overall!! Great, entertaining staff, and the food is just out of this world. It is a very New York style restaurant, not the phoney "spaghetti and meatballs" Italian restaurants the tourists frequent on Rush St. My vote 4 stars.

Bice looks like a fine italian restaurant, but does not deliver. The steak I had was horrible(seasoned well but very very tough and chewy) and the soup is mediocre for an italian restaurant. The veal stuffed ravioli was quite tasty though. Service is very slow, took us about 15 minutes to get our bill at the end of the meal.
Chicago has many amazing italian restaurants, this is not one of them in my opinion.

What a disappointment. Although the food was great, I would not return to this overpriced and overhyped restaurant. As a Chicago native, I have heard tale of this place from out-of-town visitors who attended with conventions and the like. Next time I'll know to tell them to hit Coco Pazzo Cafe around the corner. Bice is overpriced, loud, crowded, and the service was both rude and slow. We had to wait over 15 minutes for our salads, then another 15 for our entrees, another 15 to order dessert, another 15 to get the dessert, and another 15 for the coffee we had ordered with our dessert. My party noticed that people who were ordering massive amounts of alcohol got much better service than we did. Not worth it, folks.

Visiting Chicago Bice, and from New York, I had the best chocolate dessert at Bice that I have ever eaten in my life. Everyone in our trade show party tasted it and agreed it was world class. I'll go back and order it again when I can have it all to myself!
NOTICE: This is NOT the OFFICIAL Bice website. These reviews are a forum for opinions about the venue that other Centerstage Chicago users may want to know, not to order merchandise, apply for a job, etc.
