I really enjoyed ZIMPROV at the Art in Action Fest on 5/27. The band did a salute to Miles Davis, honoring his birthday. They also played some very impressive renditions of several of my favorite jazz fusion compositions.
I am a DJ on WHPK (alt. Sun. 6am)and would be happy to play a Cd from ZIMPROV. The bandleader, Zimbabu, assures me that a Cd is forthcoming.

ZIMPROV has a great sound. I saw them at the Lake Meadows Festival. They did a real funky rendition of Thelonious Monks' tune: "Well You Needn't". I went on their website AND I joined their mailing list. Thanks for the reconnection.

I had the pleasure of booking ZIMPROV for the Afternoon of Jazz affair May 2005. The band was great! I look forward to hearing them again and will stay posted via your website as well as theirs!
