The steak was okay but not the best I have ever had. Obviously, the place is overpriced for what you get. Menu on the football seemed a little ridiculous. Even when the food was brought to the table, the waiter did not take it away... It was not professional in many levels.

Outstanding. Steak was very tender and taste was excellent. The whole experience was good from start to finish. Having the menu on a football brings the theme home about the 1972 Miami Dolfins. All courses were good, particularly the dessert. Our party had chocolate and the key lime pie - all very good. Good dining experience.

We just ate there this last weekend. I've been to Chop House, Morton's and Ditkas and enjoyed them all. Shula's was just an overpriced yuck. The meat was okay but oversalted (also came out undercooked first round -asked for filet medium rare it was blood rare -cold in the center), potato was so cold we couldn't eat it, actually all the sides were cold but we ate the veggies anyhow. EXTREMELY dissappointed. When the manager came by to ask "how was everything" I told her and she didn't even offer a free cup of coffee by way of apology - just said "gee, that's not how it's supposed to be". I realize any place can have a bad night but at $40 for the steak and everything else ala carte and similarly priced (typical steakhouse prices) you expect good service and at the least hot food and if it's not - an apology and the offer of a piece of pie or some attempt to make it up. I'll go back to any of the other steak houses but NEVER Shulas.

This is not a review. My son and his wife are coming to Chicago for New Years and will spend it at Shula's. I would like to purchase a gift certificate for them for the occasion and wonder if it is possible to do this online. Shula's is their favorite restaurant and they were engaged to married at Shula's in Miami, Florida. Please help me.
