I played the course for the first time and was somewhat fearfull of what I would fine because of the previous reviews. I played the course in mid September, 2005 and the course layout was great! There are some tough holes and I would played there again. For the money, I thought it was great. I like playing different courese to challenge my golf skills.

was there this weekend and with my family. I'm not a good golfer but i had a enoyable time there this weekend, it was reaonably priced for how i play golf. it cost me $24 on weekend to play golf with a cart, usally it cost way more then taht, also it was close to the highway played golf and was back in the city really quick.

Although we call it the "dog track" we have golfed at Country Lakes for years. It has a nice layout, wide open and its almost cement sand traps..make it a real challenge to chip out of.
We love the course and consider it one of the best kept secrets in the Western Suburbs. If you love the game you'll enjoy the challenges of this course.

I have played country lakes a few times and can say that I have never seen this course in worse condition. No rakes for the traps, not that the traps are even playable. No ball washers. All of the tee boxes are uneven. And it is difficult to find any grass in the fairway. At least four fairways were 100% unplayable. The owner's friends think that they run the course and ignore all golf etiquette. The owner’s friends continuously hit into my group. Country Lakes is a unkept, unruly joke of a golf course and any greens fee that is charged is too much. I will wait in the long lines on the weekend instead of throwing my money away on this dive.

Country lakes has a great layout. The course is in really good shape. The workers always treat you with respect. There are very flexible with tee times.

This course is a dog track. Don't play it even if all of the other courses in the area are booked solid. What a waste of time and money. Also, watch out for the alcoholic old man that runs the register, he's not too friendly...

This track is challenging but open. The staff is very courteous and it's always flexible with whatever last minute plans I throw at them. My friends and I really enjoy playing here.
