My friends and I made reservations here for New Year's Eve. We called Bin 36 several times for information on what was included in the package. We were told on three separate occasions that wine was included with the price of the dinner. However, when we arrived, we were told otherwise. We spoke with a manager who told us he didn't know who we spoke to and maybe we were thinking about their other restaurant. He even went so far as to print a paper off their website, as if so show us we were wrong. He offered to let us speak to the owner, but the owner never showed his face. The manager came back and said the only thing he could do was offer us a round of drinks. We ended up leaving and had a great time at another wine bar for half the price. The people at the other wine bar were much nicer and didn't act like we were idiots, which is always a plus. I wouldn't recommend Bin 36 because of their poor customer service, especially on such an important evening.

Went there for a snack before the George Thorogood concert. We had tastings of the wines until we found one we wanted to drink, then we had the "flight of cheeses". How fun to select a variety of excellent cheeses from the menu to eat with our wine!

Bin36 is a well rounded experience. Whether it is for a casual wine flight after work, or a gourmet dinner with friends, this restaurant shines.

I was there for their Thanksgiving dinner and it was, next to a White Castle visit, the worse dining experience I've had in my 3 years in Chicago. Cold prime rib (I asked to have it medium rare and the waitress told me "that's how you were going to get it anyway") to no wine being served for a wine "pairing" dinner to an overall Thanksgiving meal that Jewel-Osco could have topped. My out of town guest was mortified and I was shamed. I will not be back.

Went for a corporate event. The food was awful. Chicken was WAY underdone (as in bleeding at the bone) and the beef was awful. My dog looked twice at it before she ate it. Not good at all. Definitely would not recommend.

Bin 36's Tavern welcomes you any time any way. V. good food, lots of salads, appetizers. Bit upscale but worth it. Airy room, vibrant athmosphere.
Wine flights give people a chance to try 4 wines and see what an impact the right wine/food pairing makes.
