As a word of warning to any promoter interested in this space. I've worked in night clubs for almost a decade now and this was the worst. They did little if nothing to promote our show, the bartenders mistreated our crowd and the eventual fallout was so ridiculous that I can't being to describe it (but I will if you wanna!).
Basically, the bartenders are angry, bitter and make you feel like they're doing you a favor getting you a drink (a weak one at that). We had people who wouldn't come to our party because it was AT Sub-T, to quote "move it and we'll gladly go then."
They've also placed the SUBS in the WALLS facing AWAY from the dancefloor (so DJs, you got NO bass now) and their visuals are constantly out of wack. The only highlight is their door staff who, god bless them, deserves far better. Seriously, promoters or just party people, don't bother, too expensive and too lame. We tried getting liqour sponsors and they WOULDN'T DO IT BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T WORK WITH SUB-T... anyway we're off to a new venue now, Sub-T get your frickin' act together.

Please check out Wednesdays to feel at home. DJ Caswell James is keeping the music that made this city famous alive and well on North Avenue. Nowhere is real Chicago House harder to find than in the city that started it all--don't miss the spot that's keeping it alive and strong!

If you have been gentrified, go to this bar. It sad to see all the nice places go down. Watch out underground lounge.
