They say it's organic. If that's important to you, ok. It was important to my daughter so that is where we chose to celebrate her graduation.

Eight of us has 7 different dinners, along with several salads and sides. I never had a better dinner! Every dish was exquisite, even the Mac and cheese. Every sauce added the appropriate complexity without being over powering. I particularly enjoyed the Truite Grille, which is the only dinner duplicated at our table.

The drink menu is also very interesting.

Service was slightly slow, but we were not in a hurry, and our server was absolutely pleasant.

Michael, you are certainly a hit with my family and I'll be making the hour trip often.

The food here was very good and reasonably priced. I would recommend going earlier rather than later. When we got there at 6:30 the service was great. Once more people started to show - our waiter was MIA.

Been here a few times; always a pleasure. The food is excellent and on par with the prices. The service has always been more than acceptable. I really don't know what people here are complaining about -- went on a Friday night w/out reservation one time and they seated us when one couple decided to stay at the bar to eat. I would not go on a weekend w/out reservations... but, uhm, duh. The entrees and desserts are superb.

no reservation? busy saturday night? know the hostess? no problem. she'll seat you and have people with reservations wait. and, she'll be snotty to boot. nowhere to wait for your table except on top of other diners which must have been pretty uncomfortable for them. service was ridiculously slow. food was delicious but order everything at once or you'll hunt the place for your server. too many tables on top of one another. too loud not to know everything that's going on at tables around you. good food, annoying everything else. your choice.

I have again been amazed at Bistro Campagne. From the awesome prawn appetizer, to the trout and souffle, and a killer side of mashed potatoes, I was in foodie heaven. My service was warm and friendly like coming to hang out with friends, a continuing favorite.

I ate at the restaurant on Thursday, 20th October, whilst staying with friends in Chicago. It was superb. My escargots were delicious and as for my main course of Antelope.... it was magnifique! The service from our waiter James, was excellent.

I have had several great experiences at Bistro Campagne. The food is classic French Bistro at its best. The mac & cheese and chocolate souffle are heaven. This will be my regular spot for a long time.

A real disappointment. Food was blah and not hot while the service was amateurish. Also it's not French food that is being served at this "bistro." Slipshod pairings of flavor and unimaginative presentation leave a sour taste in the mouth of the patron expecting authentic French food. We will not return here.

Wonderful. Service was attentive, Staff knowledgeable and helpful. The escoargot in a pernod butter sauce was a great marriage of flavors without overpowering the flavor of the escargot. The glazed duck breast with the winter fruits was spot on. Very well done and thoughtful resteraunt.

My new Chicago favorite. Undiscovered (until last week's NY Times article, I bet) and the food is great. Service isn't jump-down-your-throat, but I've never had an empty glass of water or wine. The bread is hot, the goat-cheese gooey, and chocolate pot-au-creme phenominal.
