Thought we'd have a nice quiet dinner. The place was louder than any restaurant I've ever been to, at one point my date and I were shouting to be heard. The entre' for 2 was served over an hour after we ordered - the table on one side of us, seated after us, had what looked like a similar dinner and was served about 45 min before we were. The salad was about a 0.50$ bunch of lettuce, 2 thin slices of almost ripe tomato and some onion slices. Unbelievable - basic isn't even the word for it, simple would be a generous term.
I would never go back and I will advise friends to stay away as well - why? it's loud, slow, moderately priced (55$ for dinner for 2 w/o drinks), and the food is just average.

Fabulous flapsteak for two! Went late on a Sunday afternoon before Cubs'game. Ate outside. Have been recommending the restaurant to everyone!

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. I went on a Monday night with some friends and for a weeknight the restaurant was packed. The steak was unbelievable and the BYOB feature with no corkage fee doesn't hurt either.

Que Lo Pario!!! This restaurant is unbelievable. The food is authantic Argentine. Makes you feel like you're in LA BOCA, Arg. Expect to wait over 2 hours for a table on the weekends though. Bring your own wine.

I have been to Tango Sur twice and will be going back next week. The steaks are the awesome!! I recommend this place all the time.

I have been to this resturant many times since it opened and always recommended to every one I know and meet always great service and the best of food, servers are always great. the best steaks in chicago.

Delicious food. Big portions. Not expensive. It’s BYOB. Nice music. Romantic atmosphere.Good service until some point though. After 7 p.m. it got so crowded and so-o-o loud, that we were not able to enjoy their great food and hear people we came with.That was also the time when our 4 different servers (who needs 4 of them?!)got kind of indifferent and didn't pay attention.We just could not wait to leave when it got so loud there.And one candle on the table is not enough to see what you have on your plate or read the menue.There are too many too small tables there.We'd rather pay more for the food, but do not have to listen to people's attempts to talk through that noise and feel the elbows of people sitting at the next table.

Awesome place,cool atmosphere, kick ass steaks( EL FILET is amazing), make sure you get a nice botle of wine with you, portions are really generous, not expensive at all, very good service and timing.We'll be back soon with a bunch of friends. Make sure u call before u go otherwise you would have to wait 30 minutes for a table. If u're a steak lover this is the perfect place to dine!
