Tecalitlan has always been one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Mainly come for the basic cheap Mexican food -- e.g. Giant Burritos (especially the Avocodo Burrito - they use like a whole avacodo); and the Steak Tostadas. Any of the steak dishes are wonderful. Also, try the Cebolleta's (large green onions, which they put on the grill). Goes great with the Steak Tostodas.

I love this place! My dad used to work by Tec when I was little about 20 years ago, and used to always bring me food from there. Now I bring my kids food whenever I am around. I love their stake, it is one of the best in Chicago. Anything you order there is pretty much a good choice. I love it all!! They got the whole "Enchilada" Good Food, Good People Running it and Good People dinning there! What more can you ask for.

My friends and I go to Tecalitlan EVERY WEEK for fanastic and cheap margaritas, superb tortas, fresh chips, and a fantastic decor and atmosphere! We love the place and can't get enough!

Best place for Burritos in town! I stock up on the chips, salsa and steak burritos before any game! I had my bachelor party catered by the people at Tec, and I must say the food was almost as much of a hit as the "entertainment" was!! By far my favorite place to eat!
