A friend from New England visited for her birthday, she complained she can’t get good Vietnamese in New Hampshire so we got on the red line and headed to Argyle, let her choose the place that looked best to her. The winner: Pho Viet (4941 N Broadway). But really, we were the winners. The place was quiet enough so we could actually hold a good conversation with our out of town friend, the servers were attentive and sweetly amused when I ordered not one, not two but FOUR appetizers – all for myself! The spring rolls were fresh, the pancakes plentiful, crisp and tasty. Others at the table ordered Pho, portions are very generous, no need to order an additional side (except that they sounded really, really good and only $3, so heck, why not?!). I had offered ahead of time to buy my pal birthday dinner and made out like a generous bandit, what a deal!

I haver saw the Rest. of here it very bad. You gave somebody wrote about your Rest. good you lied everybody came here. and food very expensives.

You cannot go wrong in going here for great Thai. The curries are awesome, as is the Pad Thaiand the satays. We frequently take a couple of extra orders for the next day since we travel over 60 miles to go there. ( with the price of gas, that speaks for itself) A must try are their fried bananas with homemade coconut ice cream. It is more than worth indulging on that treat. I believe all their ice creams are home there.

Despite obvious competition in choice of Thai eateries, this one definately rates a 'cut above' most. Ambience is quiet and elegant, and includes some sit on cushion floor seating. Food was excellent and prices reasonable. Pad Thai with Tofu, chicken pad prik King, and Beef in Red Curry are all recommended. It's also BYO.

this is one of the nicest Thai restaurants I have ever been to. Great service and amazing flavors make you come back again and again. Try the wheat noodle pad thai and their homemade mango icecream....yummy!!

Thai Classic is by far the best Asian restaurant I've ever eaten at. Everything on the menu is delicious, but by far my favorites are the appetizers Crab Rangoon and Spring Rolls. In my opinion, it is one of the best restaurants in Chicago.

Go on Saturday or Sunday for the buffet. Unlike most buffets, Thai Classic doesn't skimp on quality!
