This place was fun. The staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed. The jukebox has a fabulous mix of cheesy music. Plus, I had a problem with the ATM outside and a man named Bob who works at Timber Lanes was so helpful and kind in trying to get my situation settled. He went above and beyond.
I would definitely go back to this place!

Timber Lanes is by far my favorite Chicago bowling destination... small, inexpensive and friendly. Watch out for the hand-drawn Lebowski poster on the wall by lane 1.

This is one of the best houses I've had a chance to bowl in, and I've been bowling my entire life. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, and it's right off the Brown Line or the Irving Park bus. If you enjoy what bowling's about, go to Timber.
