This place was horrible. We have tried other resturants in the area and found them to be much better.Would not go back.

I felt like the help was short with my family and me because we did not know what everything on the menu was. Our server did not answer the questions we had about the food (vegan options) and was very rude overall. After finally deciding what we could eat, the person who brought our food out kept yelling at each of us in Indian about who's food was who's and since we were confused we didn't say anything so he just slammed down whatever plates he felt like in front of each of us. The food was mediocre at best and not worth the price paid. The only time our server talked to us for more then a moment was when he brought the check to the table, wanting a decent tip. i would highly recommend skipping this restaurant and check out some of the other better Indian places on Devan.

Great vegetarian Indian Food at great prices -- and, it's BYOB. Service was attentive, friendly and helpful. Somewhat limited choices, because only vegetarian but what they have is wonderful, homecooking. Recommended.

Udupi Palace at Bellevue does not share the tip you leave with the waiters serving the food. Pay the tips in cash to the waiter who served you directly.

The food at Udupi Palace is great and authentic South Indian. However the service is a disaster. Last time my husband and I went there (our second visit), we waited for a good 10 minutes for someone to notice us in the waiting lounge to get us to our seats. But finally decided to walk out when nobody came out to help us, even though the restaurant was moderately crowded. We are never going back there though we love the food.

i agree, great south indian food, but horrible service...they first got our orders confused with another table, brought out each person's entree one at a time, and really weren't flexible at all with any dietary restrictions/requests. however, good dosas. could probably find better on devon for sure

The last three times I went there the customer service was very bad. Nobody knew what they were doing and by the time I came they made me feel as though I ate in a free food place. I am not going back there again. The food was good though.

Definitily best vegetarian exotic south Indian food. The enviornment is very exotic with beautiful Indian art and little shrine alter. The staff is vry welcoming too. I highly recommend it. Except they put raw cut pepper's in some food; until unless you are fan of it.............
