As a Frank Lloyd Wright fanatic, Unity Temple is one of my favorites. Although Oak Park is filled with dozens of his Prairie School designs, nothing compares to the internal beauty of Unity Temple. I found the self guided tour very informative and it allowed me to take my time to enjoy the space at my own pace. They also has a wonderful little gift shop filled with Wright-inspired goodies! This historic site is amazingly innovative for the early 1900s and I encourage everyone to experience one of Wright’s greatest works!

Frank Lloyd Wright's Unity Temple is simply breathtaking. I bring all my out of town guests here. On our last visit, I brought my kids--ages 7 and 10. Unity Temple really captured their imaginations (and the staff was so nice).

I was a college student the first time I visited Unity Temple. My visit led me to change my major to Art History so that I could study buildings such as this for the rest of my life. Unity Temple's unique design, for better and for worse, still teaches design students and others to this day. I highly recommend visiting if you are in from out of town or just exploring your own city.
