I honestly don't get why anyone waits forever to eat at this place. It is TERRIBLE. I have been several times, and tried nearly every category of food on the menu, and I will never voluntarily cross its doorstep again. The regular pancakes? Denny's or IHOP quality. The omelets? Flavorless and rubbery. The crepes? Just bland. The potato pancakes? Bitter and tough. And the french toast? The WORST I have EVER had, anywhere. It was made with THIN slices of bread, tough, and nearly flavorless. This emperor has no clothes.

Walker Brother's is the best. I love their 49er Flapjacks and Apple Pancakes. But in my opinon, everything on the menue is great. I grew up in Winnetka, so I have been to the Pancake House countless times over the years. This is one place that never gets old.

Oh yeah i also forgot to add that it totally is completely great but they do need to add a smoking section for us smokers

I LOVE this place the only thing that sucks is that there always is a long wait to get a table....But i guess that just means that the place is really popular and great.

I am a fat guy who likes to to eat alot. Take it from me, this place is good. Get two orders of apple pancakes and you won't go home hungry. They also have a location near my home in Buffalo Grove.

I have been to Walker Brothers in 20 years... But think about it everytime I try and recreate their apple pancakes out here in California. I bet they are just as good now as they were back in my college days.

Not part of the original pancake house chain this is a local group of resturaunts started by (yup) the Walker brothers ---read the story on the menu! :) EXCELLENT APPLE PANCAKE! Take one home for tomorrow's breakfast after ordering potato pancakes for dinner. OH SO GOOD.
