Found this place online because oldest friend was visiting Chicago and knew he liked Turkish cuisine. First time for me. I'm in my late 60's and this place goes on my very short list of great places to eat. And I'm talking about restaurants all over the country and one in the south of France. Strongly suggest. An absolute treasure.

Found this place when we were looking for a fun place to celebrate a friend's 40th and returned many times. True, it is now double the size with a new belly dancer, so others have found it. The food is great (order family style package - the courses never end) and the people are such fun! You can dance or watch the others.

Sit in the dining room on a Friday night and you'll swear you've just taken a magical carpet ride to Turkey. Pick from all sorts of Turkish and assorted Mediterranean specialties (the spicy eggplant appetizer is the house specialty and is incredible). Portions are large and the wait staff could not be more accomadating, or Turkish. There's a live band playing authentic music and a belly dancer to keep you excited. Top it off with the fact that it's BYOB and they have the best hookahs in town, and you cannot have a bad time here.

This is a great restaurant with great food. It's BYOB, so it's not too expensive, either. On weekends, they have music and dancing. The food is hearty and delicious, and I haven't had anything that I haven't enjoyed. There are lots of meat options as well as some vegetarian ones.
