THE FOOD IS REALLY FANTASTIC AND VERY AUTHENTIC. I LIVE IN ARIZONA AND THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY REALLY GOOD AUTHENTIC LEBANESE CUISINE.

I GIVE THE ESTABLISHMENT 4.5 STARS

The last reviewer needs to get his taste buds checked-period.

The lentil soup is not only the best bargain found anywhere but is fantastic! I won't even waste my time on any other restaurants (GLORIFIED WALL PAPER PASTE) which lack the depth of flavors due to the spices they incorporate and are import from Lebanon.

Their falafel outshines any that I have had, ever since one of my favorite places closed eleven years ago on Devon. I am always disappointed when ordering at other restaurnats which are flavorless, dry and crumbly or worse burnt.

I love the baba with it's smoky flavor and the hummus is always a good standby for the price. The pitas are thinner which means more dip ratio to bread.

I have been eating there since '97 after moving back to the neighborhood and you can always count on the service, the consistancy and price.

I don't care if I smell like a falafel afterward-my tummy is very happy and so is my wallet!

Its ok at best. Bascially a hole in a wall kind of joint. We tried the lentil soup and found it ok, at best.

Agreed with the other reviewers that the felafel sandwich is very good (and I spent four years in southeastern Michigan so I've had some good felafel), but I strongly recommend the foul mudammas (a dish of pounded fava beans, very different from felafel). Like a lot of Arab dishes, it varies from place to place and this outfit's is excellent. Conservative and outstanding.

The food is excellent. It is actually my favorite middle eastern restaurant. DOn't be fooled by other places with expensive but not so tasty food. Here you get amazing food for so cheap. I dare anyone to try the food and not go back.

The lentil soup really is the best, as other posters have said. I'm not even the biggest fan of lentil soup, but I love theirs so much it is actually my favorite soup of all. I always want to take in a big tupperware container and give them ten bucks to fill it up. All the shawarmas are great too. You can't beat this place. Don't forget to check out the Middle Eastern Bakery across the street. Try their falafel sandwich and compare it to Taste of Lebanon's falafel wrap. Both are great, and if you're like me you'll go back and forth between the two.

The lentil soup here is amazingly delicious -- the best I've eaten anywhere. It wouldn't be Andersonville without Taste of Lebanon.

I make special trips for their lentil soup, the best I've ever had, and a serious bargain at $1.95. Delicious!
