This is a pretty great place to see good local bands. I went to a Hear You Me (hearyoume.net) show there a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome. The place is kinda shady looking at first but it's nice once you're down there. The sound is pretty solid too. All and all, a pretty awesome place to go.

I believe this place as the best Dj in the world spinning there, JOHN DE LA MORA. If I didn't live so far away, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

I was at the UL last week and had the greatest beer in the world (KWAK). This place is my new home. The staff was laid back, but attentive. Great beer selection and I was not bothered by Ronnie Woo Woo. I will be back again and again.

Went Down to the Lounge this past Wed, the Dj was spinning great music and the drink specials were even better. This place is my new home away from home.

Saw an awesome show at the underground last night. Full 7 and Al & the Arganauts rocked. The bar has a great feel and a friendly staff too. From start to finish, great sound, stellar drinks, and a hell of a good time!

A good time was had by all. One of my favorate bands, Suitcase:72 played, openning up for Leathur Cheetah, who also put on a good show. The wait staff was friendly, the sounds rocked, and the crowd was great. The only thing I would change would be to provide some ventilation, as the smoke does get a bit ridiculous, even for a band bar.

as a venue, it has a neat asthetic but the people running the place are shady - they charged the bands $200 dollars for the soundguy, who messed up the sound for the ENTIRE SHOW after 4 bands the sound was still aweful, and the bands from out of town were not paid (at least not yet), so bassically lots of gas was spent to play for free at a show that sounded aweful! and the people working the door were disrespecting the promotor . . . and all of this in a bar where people talked the whole time until the last band played so lound, no one could hear to talk!!! i'm not going back to this venue - no way- not a place i would recomend any band to play or any fan to go if you actually want to hear who you are going to see - don't waste your time or money on this venue
