Hi, I met recently Mr George Fludas at Chatellerault (France) after a wonderfull concert he gave with Mr Monty Alexander. He had been so kind to give me his autograph and we talked a little. But I would have had time to speak more with him. I didn't find any web site from him. Could you please be so kind to forward this email to him so that I could reach him. I think he shall remember me, eventhough our conversation was so short ! But what a very nice artist and I would like to tell him again. Kind regards Florence

A suprisingly short bio for such an outstanding musician. And I emphasize the word musician, not just drummer. If you get a chance to see George, do so. Unlike many other highly touted jazz drummers in Chicago, George COMPLEMENTS his fellow musicians with a gossamer-type style that is a true pleasure to hear. In an era where ham-fisted bruisers get all the attention, George Fludas is quietly sought by many of the all-time greats, especially at premier venues like the Jazz Showcase.
