The service can be wacky, but I keep going back because the food is outstanding. Try the mongolian steak, the garlic chicken, chinoiserie shrimp. The vegetable tempura is a great appetizer with the lightest batter and no hint of oil.

I love this restaurant to pieces! I am cerainly not a food expert, but the blending of French and Chinese influences at Chinoiserie makes for some delicious and surprising dishes. Family style is the only way to go here, because you won't be able to choose one thing!

Not worth the trip. Just returned from a visit attempting to get carry-out. My order was taken by the hostess, and then 10 minutes later I was informed that the cook was 'done' and that I wouldn't be getting my order. During my wait, I could hear obscenities being yelled in the kitchen (I'm sure the family with 2 children sitting nearby could hear it too), and I was told the reason he was 'done' was that he was drunk. I deposited the take-out menu I was given in the first trash can I came upon on my way out, and I'll never step foot in there again.
