Marty's has become an Andersonville institution.. I've been there many times and always enjoyed myself.
Ther is an exception to every situation....on Saturday, June 27th my partner and I went for a nightcap - as usual the place was crowded so we stood and waited for one of the coveted tables. John was not working and a member of the staff (Lucas)said we would be seated when a table was open and proceeded to seat 3 different parties ahead of us. I asked about this and was told if I didn't like it to leave and never come back.
Please....with treatment like that - not returning is an easy option - we won't be back and if this person can't treat people with a little more patience neither will a lot of other patrons.

I love this place. Best martinis in town. Cool, laidback atmosphere, you will definately have a good time. Plus the bartenders are awesome. I'll be back!!!

Marty's is probably my favorite place to have drinks. One, because it is smoke free which is a huge plus for me. Two, because the staff, every one of them, are above and beyond accomodating. Three because their drinks are wonderful, both martinis and a great selection of wine (and reasonably priced) I'm sad the outdoor patio is closed for the season, but it is great when the weather permits. The perfect way to end (or begin) an evening.

This place is so swank and fun. Yes, it is indeed small, but I think that's part of it's charm. No smoking, no television, just some light background music and great drinks. The bartenders are all really friendly and helpful and the outdoor patio is just lovely. A great mixed crowd too - a little bit of everything.

I love Marty's. Such a great addition to an already over-cool neighborhood. The crowd is always amiable, gay and straight mixed, and the service could not be better. The drinks are perfection. I was there last night, enjoying the cute new outdoor cafe area with stylish French bistro seating. So fond of this place!
