I will give this place another chance after speaking to the manager via email. I will repost afterwards.

Horrible serice. The beer selection is good, but you would get better service at Mcdonalds. The waitress was clueless, and forgot that we had actually ordered food. The beautiful state of Bayern should make this place take its name of the restaurant. Very Bad Service, what a waste of what could be a great concept!!!

Very disappointed - ok, we went on a Monday night, but still. One waiter, no bartender, slow service. Soup was creme of cauliflower and we were charged for a bowl although it was served in a coffee cup. The sausages with potato salad and sauerkraut were good, everything else was blah, lukewarm, and overpriced. They were out of salad, for heavens sake, how can you be out of salad? The spinach spaetzel with melted cheese was an odd combination. Overall, very disappointing - would never return.

Notoriously bad manager -- rude, uncaring about customers' concerns. Skip this place.

Fun! Fun! Fun! The music is great on the weekend. The band walks around and the crowd sings along. A group of 8 went and we enjoyed each and every beer and shared our meals. The portion sizes were hearty and every bit was eaten. Save room for dessert. The service was great. My family and I will be back for Oktoberfest.

Great food, great beer, great ambience, and fast, friendly service. I have been here many times with family and friends and everyone has loved it. Check out the polka band on Saturday night-they put the Brauhaus to shame musically (and I like the Brauhaus!), even though there is no dance floor. !Prosit!

I have found the new Bergoff! This place is our new family tradition. The service was great and the food and drink outstanding.

I just found out about this place. It has a beautiful bar and lots of wood inside. The tables are beautiful and the chairs are from the Hofbrau Haus in Germany. The food was delicious and the dessert was outstanding. Glunz Bavarian Haus is a must see in Chicago.

Get you coat on and head to this restaurant. The food and drink are the best on Lincoln Avenue. I tried the pork roast, what a deal it included soup and salad. The beers on tap are outstanding. Stop reading and start walking or driving!!
