This is the best local mexican in north Lakeview. It is a shame they do not deliver. They have a number of items that you do not see in a typical mexican restaurant, such as the chicken crepacitas, which comes in a chipolte cream sauce (yum) my favorite! Good chips and salsa too. It is small, and the decor is not so great, but it is lively and always crowded.

Bland food. Watered down version of sangria (was only wine and juice), dirty bathrooms. To sum it up, I will not be returning.

Consistently good food, reasonable prices and without a doubt, the BEST frozen limonata you will ever have!!!

My husband took me here for valentines day. It has a very lively feel to it.The place is buzzing and the drinks are AWESOME! The food is fresh and most of all tastes great. The salsa is to die for!!!

Decent food but a cramped, very noisy non-smoking section. If you're a non-smoker don't expect a romantic environment.

We go to El Tapatio at least once a week! This is arguably the most consistantly good Mexican restaurant in all of Chicago!
