The first place in chicago where I've thought, wow, the food is really good!! and my wallet isn't hurting the next day...! Each dish is about $4-8, and ALL of them are great (try the jalapeno gnocchi, dates wrapped in bacon, paella, and the best baked goat cheese I've had, and some yummy flan). They also have awesome sangria (white, red, and peach). I went for my birthday with a party of 15 (about 1/3 of the restaurant), and they gave me the whole top section. I did call multiple times (and days) in advance and was willing to wait. At the end of the meal, we ended up paying about $20 each, and we were all stuffed and had several pitchers of sangria. The staff was super nice, the place is super cute and cozy, and the food is absolutely superb. They also take down your number so that you can wander the streets or visit the bar across the street until your table is ready.

My boyfriend and I are big fans of Tapas restaurants and decided to try Twist. The restaurant is pretty small. We were seated up on this stage area with a tiny table to share. It was close, but comfortable. The food was fantastic. We can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend the tilapia (amazing) and the ahi tuna. You can't go wrong with the sea scallops either. I had the red sangria and my boyfriend had the peach. Both were wonderful.
