I live in Bourbonnais, Il and I feel that Duke's Beef is the best in the state of Illinois. It is a real belly buster and very satisfying. The spices they use in the beef is exceptional along with their home gardenier. I took my son and his girlfriend last Sunday and they could not believe how good the beef and how tender and tasty.

A serious beef sandwich! All the food there is always fresh and hot. Great Italian sausage and burgers too.

Just one more thing to add. Portillo's, Mr. Beef, Pop's, and the rest of those are great too. But if you are looking for an authentic Chicago feel, with great service, friendly customers, and food that nobody comes close to beating, this is the place to go.

Best beef and best hot dogs in the known universe. I grew up less than half a mile from this place, and I can say I am a better person because of it. I remember going to huge Christmas Eve parties at my Grandma's place where we would have about a ton of the beef catered in. Even after I moved out to Naperville, I still made it back here every month or so. And now that I'm in Los Angeles, it is a must-visit whenever I get back to Chicago.
