Tantrum should be considered a great place for intelligent, talented and exceptional young business and political savy individuals to enjoy themselves. I agree that it is not a "meat market"; however, who want a meat market when one can have a nine (9) course meal. The service is exceptional with a pleasant atmosphere and family oriented acceptance.

Being to new to the area but a long time chicago resident.. I was not expecting much when i decided to visit this location. South loop is not known for its 'lounge and party scene'. However, i was suprised. Nicely done place. Good drinks. great service. I would recommend this place. However,be warned this is not like lounge in lincoln park or bucktown. Not a see and be seen place. So if your want to chill its great. if you want a meat market.. search elsewhere.

Nice space to relax with friends -- except it is increasingly packed. (Clearly the local market could support another lounge.) But the staff have always been very friendly.
On the QT: One night a week those TVs near the bar come alive! Nothing is funnier than pr0n when you're wasted.
